What is Invisalign treatment?
Invisalign treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. No brackets and wires, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces.
It is the only clear aligners that are made from SmartTrack material, so they are more comfortable and easier to put on and take off.
The customized treatment planning is based on the 8 years of research and artificial intelligence from over millions of patients.
How does Invisalign work?
1. meet with your doctor to assess your teeth
The doctor will examine your teeth then discuss with you the treatment plan
2. Upon confirmation, the doctor will take an impression of your teeth and map out a custom treatment for you.
The impression will be sent to the Invisalign company and a full custom treatment will be mapped out for you. As soon as your invisalign aligners arrive to our clinic, we will contact you to schedule you for fitting and collection of your first set of aligners.
3. Start wearing your Invisalign aligners and send updates to the doctor for every set
Your doctor will ensure your aligners fit well, answer your questions, and let you know what to expect. You will be issued a few sets of the aligners and then you will have to take a picture of your teeth every time you change a set so that the doctor can keep track of your progress. This way, you do not have to frequent the clinic as often!
4. Schedule an appointment with us every 2-3 months
You’ll likely schedule face-to-face check-ups every 2-3 months to check your progress and pick up the next batch of aligners.
Advantages of Invisalign clear aligners in relation to traditional metal braces:
The clear Invisalign aligners are less embarrassing to wear
Invisalign clear aligners can be removed as need (mealtime, brushing) while metal braces cannot be removed without a visit to the dentist
Unlike metal braces, with the Invisalign therapy, there is no need to choose which foods you can and cannot eat, since the aligners are removed before mealtime
Wearing the Invisalign aligners is more hygienic than wearing metal braces
Brushing the teeth is much easier when wearing Invisalign, as the aligner is easily removed, allowing you to completely brush your teeth – one of the reasons why this is a better solution than braces for periodontal patients
In the Invisalign therapy, check-ups are not required as often . The treatment program is carried out almost independently, while following the doctor’s instructions.
Better control of forces in the Invisalign therapy more effectively moves teeth, with much less discomfort than with braces
How long will Invisalign treatment take?
depending on the complexity of your case, you could complete your treatment in as little as 6 months. But you’ll start seeing results in a matter of weeks.

Frequently asked questions
-How is Invisalign treatment different than other teeth straightening options?
Invisalign treatment is the most advanced clear aligner system in the world, backed by more than two decades of innovation. unlike braces, Invisalign clear aligners are removable and virtually invisible. there are no wires and brackets, so you don’t need to change the way you brush and floss. and, you can continue to eat all your favorite foods.
-Are there any restrictions on what I can eat while in treatment?
none! Invisalign clear aligners are removable, so there are no food restrictions at all (hello popcorn!). with traditional wires and brackets, there’s a long list of foods you unfortunately can’t enjoy because they can damage or get stuck in your braces.
-What are Invisalign clear aligners made of and what do they look like? Invisalign clear aligners are made of flexible plastic — specifically, a patented thermoplastic material called SmartTrack® created exclusively for Invisalign treatment. Invisalign clear aligners are FDA-approved and contain no BPA, BPS, latex, or gluten. They are thin, clear, and fit snugly over your teeth, making them virtually invisible.
-How will Invisalign treatment straighten my teeth? Your doctor will create a unique, digital treatment plan that maps out the exact movements of your teeth. Your Invisalign clear aligners are then designed to apply the right amount of force to the right place at the right time based on your plan. Your doctor will be with you every step of the way to monitor your progress and ensure your aligners fit correctly.
-What are the primary benefits of Invisalign treatment? Invisalign clear aligners are virtually invisible — people may not even notice you’re wearing them. You can remove them to eat and drink, to brush and floss, or for special occasions. There are no metal brackets or wires that could irritate your mouth or break, sending you to your doctor for an emergency visit.
-Am I guaranteed to have straight teeth with Invisalign treatment? Every smile is unique, which is why your Invisalign treatment starts with a consultation. During your consultation, your doctor will help you determine what Invisalign treatment can do for your smile. We cannot guarantee a particular treatment outcome, but encourage you to share your treatment goals with your doctor at your consultation.
-How many hours per day should I wear my aligners?
For the best results, wear your Invisalign clear aligners 20 to 22 hours a day, taking them out just for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing.
-My doctor mentioned "attachments." What are they and why would I need them for my Invisalign treatment?
Your Invisalign treatment may require SmartForce® attachments, small tooth-colored shapes that are attached to your teeth. These shapes serve as handles, giving the aligners something to gently push on in order to move your teeth with the right amount of force, and are what make complex tooth movements possible without braces. Invisalign clear aligners fit smoothly and tightly around them, so they’re barely noticeable. While not everyone who uses Invisalign clear aligners will need SmartForce attachments, if you need them, your doctor will attach them to your teeth at the start of or during your treatment and remove them when they are no longer needed.
-Can I get Invisalign treatment on just my top or bottom teeth instead of both?
Invisalign treatment options are available for just top or bottom teeth, but consult your doctor for your individual needs.
-Is Invisalign treatment painful?
Invisalign treatment moves your teeth by applying gentle, constant force, but some people do feel temporary discomfort for the first few days of wearing a new set of aligners. Typically, people describe it as feeling “pressure” and it’s normal — it’s a sign your Invisalign clear aligners are working and transforming your smile. Please see your doctor if you have any concerns or experience continued discomfort.
